However, no one has been as successful with bartering as Kyle MacDonald, a Montreal, Quebec resident who has traveled North America bartering goods, contracts, services, and more for accomplishing his life-long dream: Home ownership. Starting with one red paperclip, MacDonald currently has in hand a recording contract, which he'll barter for one year's free rent in Phoenix, Arizona.

Kyle has been featured in dozens of newspapers throughout North America, and has made recent appearances on ABC's Good Morning America and World News Tonight for his trendsetting journey toward home ownership.
